AEC Tech’s Hackathon is an event for all levels of programmers, developers, engineers and others, additionally, it is aimed for attendees to collaborate, network, build new relationships, and generate new ideas and processes for the AEC community. The Hackathon will last 26-hours from Saturday, October 27th to Sunday, October 28th at the Thornton Tomasetti midtown office.

The Hackathon at AEC Tech is an open-level event and we welcome all individuals with a variety of backgrounds. If you are a beginner coder or this is your first hackathon, we encourage you to review and utilize the resources below.

9:30 a.m.: Registration
10:00 a.m.: Team Formations
10:30 a.m.: Hacking Begins!
1:00 p.m.: (working) Lunch
6:00 p.m.: (working) Dinner
9:00 p.m.: Soft close of day
Sunday, October 28th
8:00 a.m.: Soft Opening/Breakfast
12:00 p.m.: Hacking Concludes/Lunch
1:00 p.m.: Presentations (3-5 minutes)
2:50 p.m.: Winners Announced
3:00 p.m.: Event Conclusion
*Soft closing/opening does not mean participants need to leave the premise or arrive at a certain time. Most event organizers will depart and arrive at the soft times. Participants are welcome to hack throughout the night.
